I am a Dutch and U.S. American philosopher. I recently graduated with a doctorate in philosophy from the University of California, Irvine. I have a special in effort: what it is, and how we use it to exercise control over our minds, bodies, and actions. Besides that, I have research interests in the nature of self, urges, free will, and indeterminacy.
